Sixth Class Graduation
On Tuesday 22nd June Sixth class pupils celebrated their time in All Saints’ with a beautiful graduation ceremony. All schools were advised to hold end of year graduation ceremonies in a Covid 19 compliant manner so therefore we could not facilitate the attendance of parents as per public health advice. Instead the school hired Cathal O Brian to record the Ceremony so that parents of 6th class can view this momentous occasion.
The ceremony took place outdoors during school hours with all pupils and staff in attendance within the existing pods and bubble structure .
A beautiful prayer service took place with every child in 6th class playing an active role. This was followed by our principal Mrs.Gallagher speaking to the pupils expressing her pride in this cohort of wonderful pupils who added so much to our school community. Following this there was a presentation of medals for Sports Day along with the presentation of Achievement awards and certificates. Each child also received a beautiful Memory Book which was compiled by our school secretary Theresa and consisted of photographs of the children over the years along with Farewell messages from Staff and their peers.
Our Parents Association very generously gifted the pupils a hoodie along with a meal which they thoroughly enjoyed on the patio.
The remaining pupils also got to share this celebration and were also treated to refreshments.
It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to our Sixth class wishing them all every success and happiness as they continue their educational journey in their new schools.
