Wednesday 8th June brought sunshine and rain showers but this didn’t hamper our plans for another successful Sports Day at All Saints’.
An array of activities were organised by the teachers for the different age groups. There were the usual boys and girls running races along with egg and spoon races, three-legged races, balloon races, tug o war challenges, penalty kicks and wellington throw .A host of other fun games were organised, all of which made the day so enjoyable for the pupils.
One of the highlights of the day was when our wonderful Parents’ Association delivered platters of a variety of prepared fruit for the children to eat during their breaktime.
This was such a real treat for the children which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Many thanks to the Parents’ Association for their generosity of time and effort in preparing the fruit .This is a wonderful initiative to encourage children to develop healthy eating habits for life.
