Sports Day 2021

There was great excitement at All Saints’ on Tuesday 1st June. The weather was glorious ,the children were dressed in multicoloured T-shirts, shorts and runners. Likewise the teachers were dressed in their tracksuits with not a book in sight. It was the day of the long awaited Sports Day. We had missed out on our Sports Day in 2020 due to the Lockdown and School  closure.

A lot of planning went on behind the scenes to ensure that all the safety regulations were in place while maintaining the  pods and bubbles.

An array of activities were organised for the pupils ranging from the regular running races to Tug O war challenges, Potato and spoon race, Balloon race, wellington throwing, Penalty kicks, Parachute games and various other co-operative games.

A wonderful day was had by all. One of the highlights for the children was getting to eat and sample an array of fruits which was kindly supplied by the Parents’ Association.
