Last week, the 14th to 18th November we celebrated Science Week 2022 all across the school.
All classes took part in many STEM investigations and experiments throughout the week.
Vinegar, baking soda, cooking oil, washing up liquid, skittles proved to be very popular commodities on the day.
Pupils also watched the Science shows organized by SFI Curious Minds which were hosted by Mary-Claire.
Pupils and teachers gained even greater insight into the science behind so many interesting scientific discoveries when Scientist Catherine Mc Guinness paid a visit to the classrooms and delivered a very informative workshop.The pupils learned about the origins of Vaseline,text messaging,Velcro,penicillin and many other scientific breakthroughs.
