On Saturday 21st May Second class received the Sacrament of First Eucharist in All Saints’ church. The beautiful mass was celebrated by Fr Gorman with the wonderful choir under the direction of Ann Cumiskey providing the music.
The pupils were so well prepared by their teachers Mrs Murphy and Mrs Mc Entee.
They certainly did themselves, their families and their school proud.
Following the mass the pupils, families and staff were treated to refreshments in the local hall which was organised by our wonderful Parents’ Association.
Many thanks to all those who helped to get the hall ready and prepared the lovely treats.
It certainly made the day even more special.
The sixth class had their special day on the 1st of May when they celebrated the sacrament of Confirmation. The pupils received their sacrament in St. Michael’s Church Annyalla.
Likewise the pupils were very well prepared by their teacher Mr Hanratty and principal Mrs Gallagher. It was also very special to have Bishop Duffy present with Fr Stephen Duffy and Fr Washe .
