The pupils of 4th,5th, and 6th class were fortunate this year to receive a 7-week block of coaching in basketball facilitated by two teachers from Our Lady’s Secondary School, Castleblayney. The children thoroughly enjoyed it and made wonderful progress over this period of time. They were coached by Miss Brady and Miss Mc Quillan who shared their skills, love of the sport and professionalism so effectively.
At the end of the 7-week block, the children were presented with Certificates for Basketball.
