Green Day At All Saints’ N.S.

The pupils of All Saints’ celebrated Green Day on Friday 15th March. Uniforms were put to one side and the pupils came to school dressed in green attire.

The school day was varied with many celebrations taking place.

A leprechaun hunt was organised for all with pupils from the senior class helping to organise it.

There was great delight when the chocolate coins were found all cleverly hidden by our visiting leprechaun!!

The Infant class directed by Mrs. Duffy held an assembly for all pupils in the PE hall to mark St. Patrick’s Day.

The children were in fine form as they narrated prayers, engaged in role play and sang beautifully .

Following this various activities were organised in individual classes ranging from singing songs as Gaeilge,Tráth na gCeist, craft activities to making green smoothies and jelly.

It was a very enjoyable day by all with everyone getting into the festive mood for Lá Fhéile Pádraig.
