All Saints’ N.S were selected for the Climate Change and You programme which was facilitated by Junior Achievement Ireland. Our third class completed this wonderful programme which was delivered by Regina Mc Kiernan, a scientist from the Environmental Protection Agency.
The pupils learned all about global warming, their carbon footprint, how to reduce it and about the circular economy.The workshops were delivered using a fun and interactive approach with active discussions about positive steps we can take to improve the environment.The boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed the workshops.
Upon completion of the programme each child received a certificate and a pencil case.
