Sports Day 2025

Sports Day Report

In the days leading up to our annual Sports Day, the weather was far from ideal. However, we were incredibly lucky as the skies cleared , allowing us to go ahead with our much-anticipated event.

We made the decision to spread Sports Day over two days. The senior classes had their Sports Day on Tuesday, 10th June, while the junior classes and Bláthú held theirs on Wednesday, 11th June.

Thankfully, both days turned out to be absolutely beautiful — sunny, dry, and perfect for outdoor fun. The atmosphere across the school was one of excitement, laughter, and friendly competition.

Pupils took part in a wide range of activities, including running races, tug o’ war, shuttle races, javelin throwing, penalty kicks ,basketball shots, egg and spoon race, wellie throwing  and many more fun activities that kept everyone smiling and engaged.

The spirit of healthy competition was evident throughout, with students cheering each other on and doing their best in every challenge. It was heartening to see such great participation and sportsmanship from all the children.

Overall, our Sports Day was a wonderful success — full of energy, enthusiasm, and enjoyment. A huge well done to all the pupils for taking part, and a big thank you to the staff and helpers who made the two days run so smoothly.
